Opportunity Passed Us By...

If you were to ask Andy how long he has wanted a dog he would answer "My whole life." When we got married he found out that he had married a "pet rock" kind of girl. But after much persuasion on his part (which he is excellent at...must come with the profession) and hours of discussion we BOTH felt that adding a dog to our family would be a great opportunity. Andy spent every night for weeks on the computer researching dogs, and we took several trips to Pet Smart as a family looking at dogs. Finally he found the Portuguese Pointer, a rare breed in the USA but a family friendly, beautiful dog.

Now even though we have both decided to get a dog the when is still an issue in debate, and Andy wants one ASAP...hence the below picture of a cute pup ready for an owner now. Sadly, especially for Andy, this beautiful chestnut brown Portuguese Pointer will not be ours...but when an opportunity passes a new one always comes to light, eventually.
