Crazy, Busy, Fun

Since we weren't with Andy on Ezra's birthday we celebrated the day after we got back from South Carolina. We started the day with a pull-apart bread cake.

(We have learned that candles melt in ooey gooey hot cake, so we taped them to a fork.)
And we ended the day with family, opening presents...

And a race car cake (the same as last year, as requested) and ice cream.

Happy Birthday my little 4 year old!My sister and her 2 kids came to Indiana for a visit, and we packed in as much crazy fun as we could with swimming, a trip to Conner Prairie,

A trip to the zoo

And a trip to the State Fair where we saw tractors,

Big tractors,

And little tractors

We did a little farming,

We visited livestock, cows, horses, pigs, sheep, goats...

Rode some rides

The flying pilot,

The bumblebee,

The carousel,

The log flume, the boys went unaccompanied...how brave!

And the Ferris wheel.

I can't believe we didn't get a picture of 2 little cousins who started out not really knowing each other to being inseparable. We had a great time, can't wait to see you guys again!
