Roller Coaster

It begins with her quietly reading a book.
And then the kitty can't find its mommy. "Baby mommy? Baby lost?"

Hysterically, "Baby not die Mama, baby not die."

I explain that the mommy found the baby kitty and that they are both okay. She responds with a weepy "Oh." and seems comforted until..."But where's the Daddy?"

And we begin the roller coaster again.

Next time I will more closely evaluate my book decisions before selection.
