Bedtime Happenings

What happens when you take a sweet little innocent girl and expose her daily to two older brothers?

She learns how to handle herself. And she gets a few puppy dog tails mixed in with her sugar and spice.
Our handsome Soren was awarded top reader in his class! He blows us away, and if you think his reading is good you should see him do double digit addition and subtraction. Outside of school this little boy has been busy planning a way to see Santa this year. He has decided that the best way would be to dig a tunnel under our house where he will attach a large tube slide from the tunnel to his bedroom. That way when he hears Santa he can slide down the tube and fly up to the roof. The tunnel has been started, but he has a lot of work to do before Christmas.
Ezra's idea, ask Santa for a jet pack this year, and use it next year to see Santa. Good things come to those who wait I guess. He has also amended his Christmas list to include live chickens, a package of fences, and a roof for the chickens. Today he told me he wants to teach the chicken to do his work. He is also beginning to read, we get a couple of books at the library each week, and he seems to really enjoy it.

Miss Vera decided that 11-9-11 was the day to rock the world with a new tooth and to show-off her sweet standing skills. I was doing my hair and she grabbed unto an open draw and pulled herself right up. She isn't really happy any more unless she is standing.

And now, off to bed.
