The morning of the 4th we took the kids out in our kayaks
(we got Andy one for his birthday and the other to make it more a family affair).
The boys caught on rather well and have been out several times with Andy since.
Liesel and Vera love going along for the ride.
We definitely found a new favorite past time.
In the afternoon we marched in our city's parade, personally my favorite part of the 4th.
Ezra, Liesel, and Vera sat on the float singing and waving,
while Soren handed out Declarations and Andy and I pulled the handcart!
