About Time

She is 10 months and has finally graduated from the pack n play in the closet to a crib in her own room. And even though it takes her longer to fall asleep (she likes to play), she goes to sleep wonderfully and wakes up chatting away.

Occasionally a mother must decide if her child, who is wonderfully occupied, allowing the mother to have a moment, just a moment, to herself, is in danger of harming herself or if her actions, while not pleasant are tolerable.

She ate dirt,

She loved it,

and I would let her do it again.
