We got them, maybe a little later than usual, but they are here!
We went to a "pumpkin patch" (aka a little garden center close by) to let the kids pick out their pumpkins. Liesel saw this one and would not let go of it as she walked around repeating "Miiine mukin mukin." (translation: "My pumpkin, pumpkin.")
After several pumpkins thrown on the ground and rolled hastily out of the way, Ezra reached the pumpkin he thought was best.
Soren initially found the smallest one he could so he didn't have as much "slimy gunk" to scoop out, but decided he wouldn't be able to carve much on a small one, so he went a little too far in the opposite direction.

Now we just need to carve them!

Oh my goodness that last picture is priceless! Isaac is dying to carve his, but I told him that they will rot in this hot yucky weather if we do it too soon!
