Here is my last ode to summer, as I would love to have my next post be filled with colorful leaves and sweaters (wishful thinking, I know). But as long as the heat is here we might as well enjoy it right?
Enjoy our little swimming pool and "water slide".
Enjoy playing basketball with dad in the evening because it is still light enough to see.
Enjoy being silly and sweaty outside.
Enjoy covering the driveway, front porch, garage stairs, sidewalk,
mailbox, and ourselves with chalk.
Summer, we do enjoy you and maybe, just maybe there is a tiny piece of
me that will miss you when your gone.
