DAY 1
Between shoveling the snow and blinking the blowing snow out of our eyes,
the kids found time to sled on our shoveled piles.
We got a little over 19 inches in all!!
DAY 2
With school cancelled the kids spent most of the day digging and sledding in our meager yard.
The steepest parts of our shoveled hills were the ones facing the street...
Unfortunately a neighbor didn't think it was very safe and called the cops on
us for allowing our kids to sled into the street.
I guess you can't always do EVERYTHING you want to do.

I hope you are loving Chicago! You have more snow than us here in Minnesota. We haven't had hardly any at all...although I won't complain. :-) And, from what I heard, snow days are practically unheard of in our school system.
