My little helpers carefully rolled and cut the dough into varying heart sizes.
Some decorated only one before giving into the temptation to nibble,
Others frosted several, taking their time to make them look "just like mom's",
And then there were others who gave no thought to the cookie
once she saw the candy
and the frosting!
