This past weekend Andy had the opportunity to go to the Duke v. UNC game at Cameron Indoor Stadium. For those of you who are unaware Duke and UNC are 2 of the biggest college basketball team rivalries. The undergrads at Duke camp out starting in the middle of December to get good seats to the Duke UNC game in March. The Graduate students do it a little differently, those who have tickets can start to line up officially 24 hours prior to the game. So at 7:30 Friday night Andy went to line up for Saturday's 9pm game. He endured intoxicated fans yelling all night long and standing outside in the cold with the wind blowing well above 40 mph. Well, it paid off...he had seats in the front row, behind the Duke basketball team's benches. Which placed him in perfect view...and reach I might add...of Peyton and Eli Manning when they entered Cameron Indoor Stadium after the team. That is right all you Hoosiers, Peyton Manning came to watch our Blue Devils. Upon seeing Peyton Andy yelled "we love you Peyton..." to which he received a recognition nod from Peyton, A RECOGNITION NOD. Why Andy did not have his camera to capture such an honorable nod and appearance by Peyton I do not know. Andy returned home at 12:30 am with ears still buzzing from the insane noise volume at the game, a hoarse voice--which he still has not fully gained back, and on cloud nine for the opportunity he had to attend one of the biggest games of his life!
